What Makes House of Joy Different

House of Joy is a place where women can slow down, feel safe, and begin again. We understand that early recovery can feel overwhelming, so our home is intentionally calm, clean, and structured to support healing.

Here, residents are not just given a bed — they are given stability. Daily routines, shared responsibilities, and clear expectations help women focus on recovery and rebuilding their lives.

Residents live alongside other women who are also rebuilding. There is space for connection, honesty, encouragement, and accountability without judgment or shame.

Meet the Founder

House of Joy was created from a simple belief: every woman deserves a safe place to rebuild her life.

After years of serving women, mentoring students, and leading through compassion, I saw the need for recovery housing that offered more than a bed. I envisioned a home where women could experience dignity, accountability, community, and hope while building a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Today, House of Joy exists to provide that place.

With gratitude,
Joy
